An Evening in the Backyard
Behind our Louisville bakery on Main Street, there’s a backyard that we’ve spent years filling with people. For one evening it can be yours. Up to 60 guests, April through October. Bring the decorations and we’ll take care of the rest.
The Space
This is where Moxie does most of its gathering, from summer pizza nights, live music, and more.
It holds 40 people and it’s open April through October. Rustic wood tables built by our founder, Andy Clark, and chairs are set and ready. What happens after is up to you. Some people bring flowers and a playlist. Some throw a wood-fired pizza party. Some just bring their people and let the evening go where it goes.
Make it Yours
The backyard on its own is enough. But you can build on it. Pick any of these, or none.
Pizza: the same slow-fermented sourdough pies we make on pizza nights, served buffet-style by our team.
Catering: Pastries, sandwiches, salads and sides from the bakery. Order by the item.
Cake: Made in the bakery, customized for you.
Coffee and non-alcoholic drinks: Travel pots of our roast, plus non-alcoholic beverage options.
A bar: We can set up a cash bar, or you’re welcome to bring your own drinks.
Music: We know most of the musicians who play our backyard. Tell us the feel you want and we’ll see who’s free.

The Details
We provide: the backyard, tables, and chairs, and our team on site.
You bring: decorations, and anything else that makes it yours, like flowers, a playlist, a banner. We’ll point you to where things can hang.
Worth knowing: the backyard is open-air, so we keep an eye on the forecast together. We typically hold our events rain-or-shine, but there is some covering over the tables.
